Heavy Duty Towing & Recovery
Semi down, rollover, load shift, or equipment that will not roll? Priority Towing and Recovery & Heavy Duty Semi Truck Wrecker, Inc. dispatches owned heavy wreckers, Landoll, and RGN — not a partner list. Same night. Same ticket. Call (240) 780-8691.
What we handle
- Heavy duty & semi towing — tractor-trailers, commercial trucks, and disabled units. See semi truck towing in Maryland.

- Jackknife & load-shift support — cargo transfer support when the load will not stay put.

Need a heavy wrecker now?
Tell dispatch mile marker or address, unit type, and whether the scene is clear. We own the iron — no third-party wait.
How it works
-
Call dispatch
Call (240) 780-8691. Share location, unit type, and what you need — tow, upright, Landoll, or RGN.
-
We send our iron
Owned heavy wreckers, Landoll, or RGN roll from our Maryland footprint — not a brokered partner list.
-
Recover & clear
We recover the unit and clear the lane. If roadside diesel can avoid a tow, the same board can send a tech first.
Service area · corridors we work
Heavy duty towing and recovery across the Priority footprint — Randallstown, Columbia, Baltimore, and Westminster — with corridor focus on I-95, I-695, I-795, and I-70. Exit-zone pages support semi and heavy rankings the way a thick highways page does.
We also dispatch heavy duty towing and mobile diesel to Laurel, Bowie, Prince George’s County, Jessup, Elkridge, Glen Burnie, and Carroll County, and west on I-70 to Monrovia. Corridor pages: I-95 Baltimore to Laurel, I-695 Baltimore Beltway, I-795 Northwest Expressway, I-70, US-29, and MD-32.
Heavy duty towing by vehicle
Heavy duty towing for every commercial unit
"Heavy duty towing" covers very different jobs. A loaded tractor-trailer, a 40-foot coach and a 26-foot box truck each need a different truck, a different hookup and a different plan. When you call, dispatch asks what you are running so the right equipment rolls the first time.
Semi truck and tractor-trailer towing
We handle tractors with or without the trailer, loaded or empty, on I-95, I-695, I-795 and I-70 to Monrovia. If the trailer can stay, we tow the tractor. If the load has shifted or the unit is on its side, our Wreckmaster-certified operators plan the upright and the recovery before anything moves. Details: semi truck towing in Maryland and rollover recovery.
Bus and coach towing
School buses, transit buses, shuttles and motor coaches have long overhangs and low clearance, and most need the driveshaft or axles handled correctly before a tow. We set up for the bus in front of us, protect the body and drivetrain, and take it to your yard, your dealer or our Randallstown diesel shop.
Box truck and straight truck towing
Box trucks break down in places big tractors never go: loading docks, city streets, parking garages and retail lots. We tow them across Baltimore, Howard and Carroll Counties. Our mobile diesel mechanic can often clear a derate or no-start first. See box truck towing in Baltimore.
RGN and Landoll for equipment
Machinery, damaged units and anything that cannot roll or be towed on its own axles goes on our RGN lowboy (35-ton class) or Landoll sliding-axle trailer. We use the same dispatch for both, and we own both trailers.

Heavy duty FAQ
Do you own the heavy equipment?
Yes. Priority owns the heavy wreckers, Landoll, and RGN. Recovery does not wait on a partner list — same company, same ticket.
Which highways do you cover?
We focus on I-95, I-695, I-795, and I-70 plus the industrial and metro corridors around Randallstown, Columbia, Baltimore, and Westminster. See the corridor pages linked above for exit-level detail.
Can you handle rollovers and winch-outs?
Yes — highway recoveries, uprights, and winch-outs for tractor-trailers and commercial equipment are core to this fleet.
What about Landoll or RGN / lowboy?
Landoll sliding-axle for damage-sensitive loads; RGN lowboy for construction equipment, machinery, and oversize hauls.
Should I call for mobile diesel instead?
If the truck might be repairable on site (derate, DPF, no-start, air/charging), start with our mobile diesel mechanic. Dispatch can escalate to heavy recovery on the same call.
Are you available 24/7?
Yes. Call (240) 780-8691 any hour for heavy duty towing and recovery.
