I-795 Northwest Expressway: Heavy Duty Towing & Mobile Diesel
Truck down on I-795 or MD-140 near Owings Mills and Reisterstown? Priority Towing and Recovery sends heavy towing and a mobile diesel mechanic from the Randallstown yard and our other Maryland locations, 24/7. Call (240) 780-8691.
I-795, the Northwest Expressway
I-795 is the short freeway that links the Baltimore Beltway with Owings Mills and Reisterstown, then hands off to MD-140 toward Hampstead and Westminster. It is a commuter and delivery road serving the Owings Mills and Randallstown side of the beltway. Priority Towing and Recovery covers it with heavy duty towing, mobile diesel repair, and equipment hauling, 24/7. Call (240) 780-8691.
- I-695 (Exit 1) — the beltway interchange, Pikesville. See I-695.
- Owings Mills Boulevard (Exit 4) — Owings Mills, Stevenson University, and the Randallstown side.
- Franklin Boulevard (Exit 7) — Reisterstown.
- MD-140 and MD-30 (Exit 9) — the road to Hampstead, Manchester, and Westminster.
Because the expressway is short, most breakdowns happen at its ends: the beltway interchange at Exit 1, the Owings Mills Boulevard ramps, and the point where the freeway gives way to MD-140 at Reisterstown. Tell dispatch whether you are on the freeway, on a ramp, or past the end on MD-140, and whether the truck is on the shoulder or in a lane. Heavy wreckers and mobile diesel units both start from that one description.

Why I-795 is a gateway to Carroll County
The expressway ends at Reisterstown, but the traffic does not. MD-140 carries trucks on to Finksburg and Westminster, and MD-30 goes to Hampstead. If you are heading to Carroll County from the beltway, this is the usual way. See Carroll County and Westminster.
The Randallstown yard at 9325 Liberty Rd, the only Priority location with shop diesel repair, is reached from the beltway via Liberty Road. See Randallstown.
What we handle
Commuter congestion, delivery trucks, and contractor equipment mean frequent short-notice calls, and a stalled truck in a merge lane backs traffic up quickly. A mobile diesel mechanic often fixes a no-start, derate, or electrical fault where the truck sits; see DPF derate repair and truck road service. Our in-house diesel techs use dealer-level diagnostics.
When a tow is needed: semi truck towing in Maryland, or Landoll and RGN service for equipment. The heavy duty page covers recovery.
What to tell dispatch from this road:
- Direction — toward the beltway or toward Reisterstown.
- Position — freeway lane, shoulder, ramp, or an MD-140 side road.
- The truck — tractor-trailer, straight truck, or equipment, and whether it is loaded.
- The problem — no-start, derate, brakes, tires, electrical, or collision damage.
Priority accepts EFS, ComChek, and T-Check, with 47 reviews on PreferredMechanic. Quotes are free. Call 911 first if the truck is a hazard.
