Fleet Roadside Assistance in Baltimore and Central Maryland: How It Works
Fleet roadside assistance for commercial trucks means one 24/7 number your drivers call when a unit goes down, and a mobile diesel mechanic who handles breakdown diagnosis, tires, jump starts and electrical, air brake, fuel, and DPF or DEF derate problems where the truck sits. If it cannot be fixed safely on site, the same dispatcher sends heavy-duty towing. Priority covers Baltimore and central Maryland from four locations. Call (240) 780-8691, or set up your fleet before the next breakdown with a fleet quote.
What fleet roadside assistance covers
Commercial trucks only: tractors, reefers, box trucks, dump and refuse trucks, and medium-duty equipment. We do not offer general auto repair.
- Breakdown diagnosis. Read the codes, find out why the truck stopped, then decide repair in place or recovery.
- Tires. Tire and wheel problems handled on site when it can be done safely.
- Jump starts and electrical. Dead batteries, charging, alternators, starters, and electrical faults.
- Air brakes. Air-system and brake problems checked where the truck sits.
- Fuel. Fuel-system problems that stall a truck or keep it from starting.
- DPF, DEF, and derates. Aftertreatment faults that limit power; see DPF derate repair. We repair and restore emissions systems; we do not do deletes.
- Towing and recovery. Heavy wreckers, Landoll, and RGN when the truck has to move, on the same ticket.
How to set up your fleet before a breakdown
A breakdown goes faster when dispatch already knows your trucks and how you pay. Use the fleet quote form for setup, not for a truck that is down right now.
- Send a fleet request. On the contact page, tell us how many units you run, where they sit, and whether you need mobile diesel, heavy recovery, or both.
- Share your unit list. Unit numbers, makes and models, and truck types (tractor, straight truck, reefer, dump, refuse).
- Name who can approve work. Who dispatch should call to approve repairs or a tow, and any PO or unit-number rules for invoices.
- Settle payment. We accept EFS, ComChek, and T-Check, and quotes are free.
- Give drivers one number. Put (240) 780-8691 in every truck and in your driver app, so nobody is searching for a tow company on the shoulder.
- Say where trucks go. Your yard, your shop, or the Randallstown diesel shop at 9325 Liberty Rd, the only Priority location with shop diesel repair.
What your drivers should tell dispatch
- Location. Road, direction, and the nearest exit or mile marker, or the yard or job-site address.
- Company and unit number. So the call lands on your fleet account.
- The truck. Truck type, and whether a trailer is attached and loaded.
- What it is doing. No-start, derate, warning lamps and codes, air or brake problem, flat, or accident.
- Safety. Whether the truck is clear of the travel lanes and anyone is hurt. Injuries, fire, or a blocked lane mean 911 first.

Do I need an account before my truck breaks down?
No. Any driver can call (240) 780-8691 24/7. Setting up your fleet ahead of time with a fleet quote request just means dispatch already has your units, approval contacts, and billing details.
