Heavy truck towing company, Priority Towing, recently received a request from a driver in Woodlawn, MD, and provided stellar service to the customer. The call was for an oversized tractor and trailer that had broken down on I-695 westbound before I-70. A customer recently called the pros at Priority Towing for heavy truck towing in Woodlawn, MD. The heavy truck towing company received a call for an oversized tractor and trailer that had broken down on I-695 westbound prior to I-70.

Upon receiving the call, the heavy truck towing dispatcher dispatched a heavy truck towing pro and a heavy wrecker to the scene.  When the heavy truck towing team member arrived, he found a new articulated dump truck, with the combination grossing in at a whopping 120,000 pounds. Due to the shoulder being so narrow at the scene, the heavy truck towing team attempted to call the State Highway Patrol to come block and help provide some protection. Unfortunately, they were all tied up on another accident call elsewhere. 

The Priority Towing driver also discovered that there was a terrible coolant leak. He got started on the recovery right away. However, the shop where the customer wanted the tractor taken to couldn’t accommodate the oversized load, and neither could Priority Towing, the heavy truck towing company. They made a decision to use the local weigh station as a safe haven for the load. 

After dropping off the trailer, Priority Towing took the tractor to the shop. After dropping off the tractor, the heavy truck towing team took the driver to a local hotel so that he could rest while his truck was being repaired. The entire heavy truck towing recovery took the team 2.5 hours.
